Utility Industry Veteran Promoted to Director at Apogee Interactive

ATLANTA, April 3, 2012 — Apogee Interactive, a leading provider of online energy applications for utilities, announced today that Randy Kirkus has been promoted to Director of Client Services. Kirkus will be based out of the Atlanta office and will be responsible for leading Apogee’s Client Services Team in providing customer support and assistance to Apogee’s more than 600 utility clients. Kirkus’ team, together with Apogee’s marketing department and software development group are focused on maintaining and expanding the firm’s sizable footprint in the energy industry marketplace.
To Apogee, Kirkus brings his vast wealth of knowledge and perspective from his 29-year tenure with Southern Company where he served in positions including project director at Southern Electric International, general manager of system operations, and assistant to the vice president of T&D.

Kirkus is also heavily involved in his community serving on the Board of Directors of the Berkeley Lake Homeowner’s Association and playing a key role on the City’s Finance Committee.
