Global lead Provides eLearning Diversity Training To Nashville Electric Service Employees

Fort Washington, PA, September 9, 2005 - Global Lead Management Consulting, an international diversity and inclusion consulting firm, announced today that it has been chosen by Nashville Electric Service (NES) to train the utility company's increasingly multigenerational and multicultural workforce on fostering an inclusive work environment via "Dialogue on Diversity" - an innovative, e-learning diversity training solution.

Like much of the utility industry, NES's workforce comprises more generations and cultures than ever before, creating an imperative for the company to adopt new programs designed to accommodate their increasingly diverse employee base. In response, Global Lead collaborated with Apogee Interactive, a leading provider of e-learning solutions to the utility industry, to provide an e-learning portal - "Dialogue on Diversity" (DOD) - that will train over 1,000 NES employees, at four locations, on how to foster an inclusive, diverse work environment that values the varied backgrounds and opinions of each employee.

Companies using computer-based training like Dialogue on Diversity have experienced an 80 percent reduction in total training costs per employee.

Fully customizable, DOD offers four 20-minute interactive modules that train users on nine diversity concepts and the key tenets of an inclusive work environment. The software finishes with a quiz that provides a benchmark for administrators to track individual progress and ultimately verify that employees have completed the training.

"With 'Dialogue on Diversity,' we will be able to engage all our employees -wherever they are based - on the inclusion skills needed to work collaboratively with customers and colleagues," said Rachel Moxley, Training Supervisor for NES. "DOD will greatly assist us in empowering each person in our multicultural workforce to contribute their unique perspectives in a way that helps us better connect and engage with our equally diverse consumer base."

A fast-growing component to Global Lead's diversity consulting business, e-learning training products are often used as a cost-effective complement to traditional classroom training by providing consistent, across-the board training to all employees, regardless of geographical boundaries. "Dialogue on Diversity" has been used by more than 50 companies to train over one million employees on how to foster an "inclusive" atmosphere and leverage diverse cultures and opinions as a competitive weapon. Diversity-smart companies have been more successful than their competitors in connecting with and engaging today's global marketplace.

"We understand that one of the critical challenges facing executives launching valuable diversity initiatives within their organization is maintaining the consistency and impact of those initiatives," said Oris Stuart, Managing Partner of Global Lead. "NES recognized this challenge and we are pleased that, after considering many alternatives, NES chose Dialogue on Diversity to address it."
