Creating Smart Messaging for Your Customers

ProgressInsights™ is a part of Apogee's Smart Grid Solutions. Now you can create an ongoing dialogue with your customers through regular communications and positive reinforcement. It’s called ProgressInsights because the utility not only analyzes the customer's energy use but also communicates energy-use progress reports on a regular basis. Outbound messaging can also be activated when needed.

Integration with Meter and/or Billing Data

With increasing investments in smart meters and the smart grid, Apogee's software is capability of integrating AMI/MDM data from multiple vendor sources. Progress reports are provided online and by mail, and outbound messaging can be Web-based and/or SMS text-based for maximum reach.

When integrated with the billing process for either print or online presentment, ProgressInsights provides valuable information to increase the understanding of energy use, its drivers, how to save, and comparisons to standards in their area.

Available for both commercial and residential customers, ProgressInsights starts with the core AMES energy analysis engine. But the messaging to customers is kept at an easy-to-understand, very visual level. Any changes in the customer's consumption -- compared to their base period -- are graphically displayed, indicating where changes in operations or the impacts of upgraded equipment affect usage. Recommendations for ways to save are provided simultaneously so the customer can take action.

An enhanced version of ProgressInsights is ideal for multi-site commercial customers and offers:

• Customizable alerts and alarms
• Facility rankings showing deviation from benchmark standards
• Dynamic scripting to aid diagnosis of causes for deviations
