Client Services and/or Key Account Manager

Primary Responsibilities

With hundreds of North American utilities under contract and substantial growth in clients and offerings, Apogee has a range of customer-facing positions open including client service representatives, key account managers, and business development directors.

Position Overview

Enhance relationships with assigned clients by establishing regular communications, confidence, trust, and support.  Add value to the relationship by keeping clients informed of results delivered with Apogee applications and share new enhancements to the platform.  Understand the clients’ goals and objectives, optimize use of our applications to assure they accomplish their goals.  Have regular conversations with clients to help  assure objectives are met and the value of Apogee services established.  Salary commensurate with experience; Atlanta is preferred location but others will be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Apogee contact with assigned clients.
  • Develop product analytics on a prescribed basis and discuss with clients.
  • Develop an understanding of the clients’ goals and objectives for Apogee tools.
  • Develop expanded service opportunities by understanding client’s objectives.
  • Proactively discover and resolve issues should they occur.
  • Provide input and guidance for sales and marketing when assistance is needed.
  • Assure client’s rates are kept current.
  • Conduct appropriate research, attend conferences or training, and participate in professional and trade organizations to stay current with the leading trends and approaches to the business.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience within the retail side of energy or utility industry
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One or more years of experience and competency with client services
  • Passion for excellence and desire to work with best-in-class team
  • Excellent communication skills including interpersonal, written, verbal, and listening
  • Self-motivated, team player
  • Ability to maintain positive teamwork environment
  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
  • High-level integrity and ability to maintain confidential information
