Vice President of Sales/Chief Revenue Officer

Primary Responsibilities

Working in coordination and collaboration with the management team, Software Sales executive is responsible planning and implementing of all sales related activities, both short and long range, targeting new markets to meet the Company’s goals and objectives. This position has responsibility for providing mentoring, direction and oversight to department team members ensuring that corporate sales objective are achieved.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
  • Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
  • Contributes to market research and adjusts sales strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
  • Works with the management team to develop sales forecast and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote services.
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Facilitates collaboration with the pre-sales, implementation, delivery and relationship management teams to ensure the successful on-boarding of new customers.
  • Collaborates with other sales leaders to facilitate team selling when and where appropriate.
  • Ensuring department-wide compliance with all deadlines and reporting requirements.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, sales pipeline, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Reviews and analyzes sales performances against plans and quotes to determine effectiveness.
  • Manages and directs staff including recruitment, selection and development to achieve Company goals and objectives.
  • Manages, analyzes and develops plans to address and meet KPIs, as warranted.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Other duties as assigned.
